The mounting plate is the link between the Bosch Active / Performance motor and the frame on your e-bike. A worn damping foil of this mounting plate is often the cause of creaking / crackling / squeaking. To be on the safe side, replace this mounting plate/damping foil after each disassembly of the engine.
