BOSCH® E-Bike Lockring

Used to mount the chainring or chainring spider safely and reliably. The lockring is compatible with eBikes with 4th generation BOSCH® motors. These can be equipped with Smart System or the older BOSCH® E-Bike System 2. An overview of compatible motors can be found below in the compatibility list.

Note on fitting the BOSCH® Performance Line Gen.4 lockring:
We recommend the use of special tools to attach the lockring. You will need the appropriate lockring tool and a suitable torque wrench. Use this to set the correct tightening torque of 20-25 Nm. Pay attention to the thread direction: it is a left-hand thread, which is tightened anti-clockwise.
