suitable for all first and second generation BROSE motors
Serves
as a support for a puller. A puller setting on the crankshaft or crank
bolt can lead to expensive DAMAGE. The forces are transmitted through
the entire motor - the housing is pressed out from the inside. It often
happens that the right-hand crankshaft bearing shifts on the torque
sleeve, which then leads to axial play in the engine, which subsequently
causes damage to the freewheels. In addition, the force is transmitted
via the balls of the right and left crankshaft radial bearings. These
are not designed to absorb/withstand high axial forces and may become
damaged.
Using this puller sleeve, you can do as the
professionals do - the force of the puller is channelled directly to the
torque sleeve and the crankshaft and bearings are protected.
You will need a two-arm or three-arm puller in addition to this product.
